Our pitches require constant care and attention throughout the year. Beyond just cutting the grass weekly, we scarify, rake, aerate, and seed the pitches regularly to keep them in top condition. However, this vital work is difficult to achieve without the right machinery.

A couple of our dedicated volunteers, who are farmers, kindly assist us with their large tractors, but these heavy machines compress the drainage system beneath the surface, making it harder to maintain the pitches properly. To ensure our pitches remain safe, playable, and enjoyable for all, we need to raise funds for a smaller turf tractor and the necessary equipment to maintain the grounds year-round.
