The Amazones reformed in 2017 and since then have grown form strength to strength with a gang of over 20 women.

Here at the Amazones we welcome any woman that wants to try their hand at rugby. Our goal is to encourage ladies to try something new and spark a passion for sport while celebrating what their bodies can do.

Whether you’ve been playing for years or have never held a rugby ball you are always welcome. With players aged from 18-48 and fitness levels from ‘no way I’m running half of the pitch’ to ‘oh, let me go for a gentle 10k jog’ we have a space for you.

We pride ourselves on our friendly atmosphere, non judgemental coaching and that we provide a safe space.
Come along and give it a go, set a goal to get fit or to simply make new friends within our wonderful community.
